Whats the matter?

The lack of luster I felt from all those diets and failed promises was my story too, which made me hate my body even more. So many, many years wasted restricting and starving myself to lose weight. Oh! If i’d only known then, that the food part was only a small part of the complete picture.

I became stuck, bored, bitter and operated in a quiet survival mode, I was in a hate and depressed state about my physical body. I became obsessed with healthy food and used it to try and solve all my problems, once I was slim I would have what I wanted, I would be really loved, successful, have fun again etc etc. It effected every part of my life and I practically disappeared into the wall paper as I waited for it all to happen. I hid from the world I squashed myself away. It felt like I was in a huge bunch of brambles, all pulling at me in every direction at once, I was savior to all except myself. Every step I took pulled me further into her thorny branches to hold me for longer, down trodden exhausted and about to give up. The girl inside had all but vanished, too tired and stressed, supremely responsible for everyone, holding it together. Juggling, children, business, emotional traumas, and now gaining weight. Yet it was this girl who I had forgotten, who actually helped me and will help you to lose the weight finally.

I forgot who I really was, I was never meek or mild when I was a child, and I had something to say, yet all that had been squeezed out of me. The relationships, parents, career bosses, teachers, living in a country I did not speak the language wrestling with things I did not understand and some so called friends had shut me up.
